ooh, i'm so sorry to hear that ! i would be so upset as well if i lost mine.
i really hope you find it somehow, you never know, it could happen, right ? did you check if there's a "lost objects" at the place you were ? i hope you manage to get it back / replace it soon.
(what is it with these things ? did they all grow legs suddenly ??? maybe they're all together having a party somewhere. with a little luck, it'll come back, and just have a hangover for a day or so.)
