If you mean iTouch, that's actually what I was considering that led me into netbooks. I'd pretty much written off laptops because when I've had them, I didn't use them, but I wanted something with more screen than the average phone for web use, and a good typing interface for my forum addiction

My conclusion was that the iTouch/iPhone just didn't deliver for the cost, particularly given the closed nature of the app development.
Up to then, I'd paid little attention to netbooks, thinking they were crap machines marketed to parents for their kids and first-time computer buyers who don't know what they're looking at, but considering my needs I thought, "I need something lightweight with basic hardware and an internet connection...Hey! That's a netbook."
It's very handy having not only a web device but also a mobile command post for all my other gadgets and applications, and one that I'll actually have with me because it doesn't weigh a ton.
