I can't understand your English well enough to understand what your problem is. Suffice it to say that if you label the book stargazer in the metadata, and then search for stargazer, you'll find the book in Calibre. You can sort by series, tags, etc. as well.

It doesn't just store metadata from the book; it stores it's own copy of the book. So you can convert it and export it to other formats, even if you then go off and delete your original copy outside of Calibre.
