Welcome. It's good see the forum's presence here in Scotland is strengthening. You'll get lots of good advice here (as I'm sure you already know).

I thought carefully about which reader to buy, and eventually went for a Kindle, despite the hassles of sourcing it from the US and using it over here. I'm delighted I did. But, given that you are an avid reader, I suspect you'll greatly enjoy using any model. It will open up new reading possibilities for you, and generally help to make life more convenient.

Please let us know how you get on with your 505 when it arrives.
