I just saw it and I didn't throw up. I was hoping not see Geriatric Wars again so I groaned a bit when Nimoy showed up yet again. But I suppose if there's absolutely no link to the original series, why would anyone show up? I was reasonably entertained.

Then, as I was driving home with my daughter, a thought occurred to me and I started laughing out loud. As to the scene where Kirk, Sulu, and that other guy.......

SPOILER ALERT! Potentially experience-spoiling information contained in the following lines in white:

....were free-falling onto the drilling rig thing, I was recalling the original series where a guy in a red shirt was always the "throw down" cadet that was sure to be toast in the opening scene of many episodes. So I wondered if the third guy in this scene was wearing a red shirt. I can't remember well enough. Does anyone else know? If so, that would be really funny!
