Hello ksd -- welcome to MobileRead. People approach the forum in different ways. I visit almost every day, so I start with the links in the blue bar near the top of the page. I pull down the arrow next to "New Posts" and select "Last 24 hours". I then read any of the posts that sound interesting to me. Others follow the forum hierarchy. You might enjoy reading the messages in the Kindle forum more than those in the other categories.

And, you'll discover that there are lots of books stored here at MobileRead which you can download and read on your Kindle. You can start with the Mobipocket Download Guide. Download with your PC and transfer to the Kindle over the USB cable -- or use the experimental browser on the Kindle by navigating to https://www.mobileread.com/mobiguide

If you have questions, you can post them right here as a reply to the thread or you can start a new thread. There are lots of friendly people hanging around and want every new member to enjoy their visits.
