The operation manual states the
case should be cleaned "with a soft cloth, such as a cleaning cloth for eyeglasses." There is both a warning against letting water get into the Reader openings, but if the Reader's case (again) gets "very dirty" then a cloth moistened with water maybe used. No alcohol/solvents.
Note there is no mention about care of the
screen itself. No mention at Sony eSupport either.
I find a microfiber lens cloth suffices, but I agree the right-sized screen protector would be even better.
