20090409-2 is great so far: no more crashes (back to bookshelf) while reading books after a few pages!
All hail the Ukranian LBook programmers!
To use the dictionary (.dz and .index files drom a debian dict package) I do a long press (2 seconds) of the 3 key (since with a short press the keyboard is then buggy, as noticed by the forumer named oddity above). It would be perfect if in german the letters with an accent were recognized as normal letters while choosing the word to search in the dictionary.

*** EDIT ***

Well, I thought my problem was solved but I was just reading a book on the SD-card and suddenly sent back the the bookshelf of the built-in storage!
Which never happens with OpenInkpot.

***2nd EDIT ***

It seems that when the battery is full there are less crashes. And this new LBook firmware must draw less current, but not as little as OpenInkpot. So I definitely must buy a high-quality original Nokia battery...or wait for the next LBook firmware.
