Don't get me wrong, I like the story, and he got a little better in the 4th book, 2 and 3 were just omg, I just read that.

I don't think this qualifies as a long series, and very few series I have read touch upon the former so much as this.

He does repeat himself an awful lot, if you were to just start on book 3, you will know about every single little thing that happened in books 1 and 2. he is pretty easy to read, but the book takes place over 8 months or so in the first 4 books, and there is absolutely no character growth at all from anyone. 8 months is long enough for new aliances, and trust in yous C.O. especially when he saved your six more times in the last week that you can count on one hand.

It's a mediocre series, it's a decent fast read of a series, but I would never recomend reading them back to back. read 2 or more books between each and it's a whole lot more enjoyable.
