I was brought up by my nanna, who still had her Sunderland accent, and an aunt, who had a sort-of Home Counties/RP accent thanks to voicecoaching. Which means my natural accent is something of a blend of the two. Bath is pronounced with the same ba as bat; the castle in Newcastle is cassel but in Windsor Castle it's Carssel. And I occasionally say milluk and fillum (OK - that's an exaggeration of how it comes out - it's more like 1 1/2 syllables than two.)
