Sadly, I finally finished A Fire Upon the Deep, even though I read it extra slowly and savored every nuance. It really was just as amazing as I remembered.

If for no other reason, I'm glad to have large fonts and the ability to read this book again.

Now zipping through Brandon Sanderson's Firstborn, a freebie from Tor.com. It's been just "eh" so far, nothing really unique. Of course, coming off A Fire Upon the Deep, anything would seem mundane.

Did I mention that I really really really like the book?
