Even though the image is of poor quality, it might be worth noting that the white tone is warmer on the DR on the right. The sony on the left is much cooler in its tone.
Cool whites are usually crisper to the human eye, which is why all monitors come out of calibration towards the cold side from the factory (in order to look nice on the sales floor).
Some people find warmer scales more soothing though (much like traditional book paper), so I guess its just personal preference.
That aside, I would be interested in seeing a well lit shot of the two side by side, then have someone use the "eye dropper" tool on on the blackest black and whitest white and see which value is lighter/darker
