Might be a good idea - OTOH We have a couple of kids in the house, and all of them are practising some kind of instrument(s) (mostly, no kidding, viola or tuba...). (But I could get out my E-Guitar and start practising with that one, instead of my classic one
).
But I fear that starting to drum would mostly annoy another neighbour - a young (and very friendly) family with two children (one a few weeks old, one roughly 2yrs). Hardly fair
