OK one more time to clarify the remark I made about DRM. If not DRM thaen there will be another form of copy protection. Don't you understand that Copy protection is necessary? If not in one form, then in another. You havn't given time for the drmless music to perculate through. This law remains absolute. You have to agree with me on this. "If authors and publishers aren't paid, there will be no more music or books. Let me demonstrate, although I don't have the exact answers. How many publishers and how many authors made a profit from "Clemence, The Schoolmistress of Waveland" by Retta Babcock? Now what publisher and what author made a profit from "Phantom Prey" by James Sanford? Obviously, the first book, the copyright has run out on. The publisher doesn't want to publish it because anybody could copy it. The author doesn't make a profit on it because shes dead. In the second example, John Sanford is alive and well. his book is copyrighted *and* copy protected and he makes a profit as well as his publisher. So Copy protection are no copy protection. The first case or the second? Which Publisher is going to continue making money and which author will make money enabling him to write more good books?
