We are avid readers--and most of us, purchasers--of ebooks. (Some of us stick to free ebook sites.) WE ARE YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. We are the ones who like taking a chance on new authors, who throw money at new ebook projects.

If you aren't interested in what the people most likely to buy your books have to say, maybe you should look for a contract with one of the mainstream publishers, where it's expected that authors don't have any contact with their readers and don't listen to customer feedback.
