I apologize for my rudeness  This was the whole point I was trying to make. It makes perfect sense to me and now I hope to all of you, what I was trying to say. Having only an elementary school education, it's hard sometimes for me to say succinctly what I mean.

DRM makes ebooks unreadable at a later date - it's like having your books seized when you buy a new house. A different filetype is not a different 'format' (although the word is used) in the same way a paperback is a different format from a hardcover. It just has some code added that applies restrictions.
Lack of education doesn't make a person rude, lack of respect for others does. And if you want an education in ebooks, please don't insult the people here - there's not a more knowledgeable bunch of people on the subject elsewhere, nor a more tolerant bunch. DRM has been discussed, POLITELY, quite a lot here. There's no excuse for your behavior.
