I'm not a writer. I read incessantly, and I can come up with ideas for books, stories, etc. but actually writing them I can't do. No idea why. I can write blog posts, I can write emails telling people what I've been doing, and I can write prefaces for things. But every time I sit down to write a story, I freeze.
EDIT: By the way, that cover is GORGEOUS!!

You should write. If the ideas are there then all you're missing is the structure.
May I reccomend these three books that will un-freeze you when you sit down to write.
Dorothea Brande - Becoming a Writer (I'm in the process of working out a way to make this freely available as an ebook)
Zen in the Art of Writing - Ray Bradbury (only availalbe as pbook as far as I know)
Techniques of the Selling Writer - Dwight V Swain (only pbook)
One of these gives you the joy of writing, another gives you the courage, the third gives you the structure you'll need. After that you 'just add words'
