I second this. As a company it is lousy marketing to give out dates that you then do not meet. We have had discussions here whether they really gave us dates in the past or whether it was just our interpretation. I doubt, however, that anyone disputes the "1st quarter of 2009" and the date GeoffC got for the list of enhancements as valid and promised dates they did not meet.

Plus, I have yet to find out what's so hard about telling one's customers what will be in the next FW. If they aren't done programming yet it's kind of provocative to tell the customers that the next FW will be released soon. And if they are done programming and have started testing there is no way they don't know yet what's in it... (And yes, I know there is always the possibility that if they can't fix it while in testing that something might get pulled at the last second but normally you either give a fixed release date and don't talk about what you might/might not get done until that date or you share the features in the next FW but don't give a fixed date when it'll be done. As they don't say when the FW will be out there must be *some* fixes/features which will definitely be in it, they can always sursprise us with a few more...)
