Did you incorporate the heat into your lesson of the day? The Great Depression and moving through the Dust Bowl or something similar?
I can relate to the HEAT being in AZ. I once spent a whole day in a Vegas decorating center during a brown out...in July. And this was when we were moving to the States from Ireland so we melted!!
