https://standardebooks.org/) for no charge. A lot of books can also be purchased DRM-free through various sites, like Humble Bundle. And finally, some books on Kobo are DRM-free as well. Calibre does a wonderful job converting EPUBs to a compatible format for the Kindle 2.
