At first I didn't worry because usually ctrl+0 always reset sizing problems. And it did reset my text size.
But the footer and header are now way too big and distracting, and some letters are even cut off. I first searched the viewer's settings (and did take the time to disable all shortcuts for resizing lol), but neither messing around with sizes or resetting the viewer's settings helped.
Sometimes it helps for a moment, I go back to regular size header and then I re-open the viewer and I'm back to Big Size.
A search on the net helped me found that theoretically the viewer sizing is dependent on Calibre's parameters, but since I hadn't touched those, it didn't make sense. I tried anyway, and it does affect the viewer's font, but the size is still the post-mishap wrong one.

Also of note, when I open the viewer, there's the half-second where all the text goes huge, then re-sizes down to too-big-but-not-huge.

I also tried deleting the ebook-viewer.exe file and reinstalling Calibre just in case that'd help, but no go.

I made a screen recording of an example. Hoping the direct discord link works

Anyone has an idea? I shrugged it off in the beginning, but the big title size is actually distracting.

Thank you,
Ateana
Almost every part of Calibre stores USER stuff in the configuration folder. those settings do not get replaced during a reinstall.
Note that Per Library settings get stored In the Library DB
In your case: I suspect viewer.json is the file to delete. Viewer will recreate the default upon next use.
