Hi everyone! 👋
I've been a Kindle user since I first got my paperwhite in 2016, still fully alive and using it daily! Specially now more than ever, I love it as it lets me read deeply without eye strain, blue light, or constant notifications.
I do, however, also love listening to my favuirite podcasts, science explainers, film reviews or economics video essays on Youtube. Lately I did not just want to be looking at my phone and spend hours on fast-paced videos; I really enjoy the feeling of having the time to understand and digest what I'm reading, just the opposite of what I do with Youtube (just forgetting everything after 1 minute).
To fix this for myself, I created a tool called YouTube to Kindle, that I've been using for some months now. I found it suprisingly useful and I liked it so much that I'd like some other people to try it out.
How it works:
- You send a video link or add a Youtube creator via a simple telegram bot.
- It extract the transcript, remove filler words, and compile the spoken content into structured, well-titled chapters with takeaways.
- It packages the text into a clean ebook file and sends it directly to your `@kindle.com` address using Amazon’s native Send to Kindle feature over Wi-Fi.
Looking for fellow readers to test it out:
For this first test, I'm looking for a small number of people that want to try it out, share their feedback and enjoy "reading" some youtube videos.
You can sign up here:

(All you need is a Kindle, be a Telegram user and 1 minute to add our sender address to your Amazon Approved Document list so Amazon doesn't reject the files).
I will also be posting updates in this [
Substack], so feel free to follow to receive updates about the project if you do not wish to be a tester.
Happy to answer any questions about the formatting, Send to Kindle settings, or how it works!
