It worked great, except for two issues:
1. When enabling Wi-Fi, it would crash and reboot. I "fixed" it by keeping Wi-Fi on during sleep.
2. It would also crash during power off. This one is weird because it doesn't actually cause problems (it's already shutting down anyways), but it took away the ability to set a power off image as it would just get stuck on the loading dots.
Seeing these issues and realizing I wasn't really using Magisk much, I decided to go back. Big mistake. Now it's stuck on the bootloader and I can't seem to get it out. I have tried re-flashing everything in the guide to no avail. Please help!

I came across your post while I was also researching a general way to perform firmware upgrade on a device rooted with doomgoatman's method (of which, hypothetically, one of the steps might entail unrooting or restoring stock) so it is of interest to me, however, I don't have any concrete ideas how to help you get unstuck.
Do you remember the steps you performed to get back to stock, and did you flash a stock abl image? Also, the wifi failure seems interesting to me, what was your firmware version?
