I have a Nia. Battery went from 99% in the morning and dropped to 50% before noon, with only 30min reading in between.

I'll try the "close book" before sleeping trick to see if it works.

At the same time, wifi can never search network although I swear that it worked before (I got it setup using wifi). But now, when I turned on wifi, it scan for a while then reports that there's no wifi network - when I have my phone as a hotspot right next to it (it's 2.4GHs).

One more issue just popped up: a wrong book cover shows up. I am reading book A but when I put it to sleep, book cover of book B shows. I read book B quite a few days ago (it's borrowed from a library and was since returned).

I am starting to suspect that the OS/firmware is corrupted somewhere.
