Hi, it was deliberate, as those extra icons added too much to the size of the app. For some reason every icon added around 2MB to the final size (but being a few kB as source). So in the end adding those icons resulted in 80% of the size in the AppStore: icons.
So removing those extra icons means the app now has around 10MB instead of 55MB.
That's it, nothing special
