Most of the time I can't even get it to the stage of being mountable to get the UUID. Most of the time, it shows as a USB device and that's it. I have to unplug it and replug it over and over before it finally works and even then it's incredibly slow. Not sure adding it in fstab would make any difference if it can't mount to start with.
I'll try anyway but so far in trying to do that, after finally managing to get it to be mountable and appear in lsblk

And trying all this has also now reset the Kobo and wiped everything on it
No idea, how that happened. Unplugged it from my computer, waited for the connected screen to go away, and all my kids books on it are gone.
