I ran into this today. I wanted to edit the Kindle 4 jailbreak page to add instructions on installing KUAL without Amazon's telemetry removing the signing keys, but couldn't register.
Turns out anonymous editing is allowed, but is gated behind the same CAPTCHA, so I can't edit the page. The page is linked a lot, so I think leaving the wiki basically uneditable like this is a bad idea. Maybe change it to use Recaptcha like the forum or somehow give people with forum accounts also a wiki account?
