I installed nickel menu and use it to toggle bluetooth on and off. Wifi does not turn on if you do it this way. All sorts of useful details
in this thread. You do not need to install the bluetooth plugin for the Kobo remote, or even the 8bitdo micro. You will need nickel menu, instructions for which are in the Nickel Menu thread.
I have the following in my config file to make it work. Where you see xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx replace it with the Kobo Remote's MAC address, or the MAC address of your bluetooth device.
