I would like to propose a new feature or enhancement regarding automatic palette synchronization. I currently use Linux along with a dynamic color generation tool called Matugen, which extracts and updates color schemes directly from my desktop wallpaper.
Would it be possible to implement a background monitoring feature that automatically detects changes to the active .calibre-palette file? If the file is modified externally by a tool like Matugen, the plugin could automatically apply the updated palette to Calibre's GUI in real time without requiring manual intervention or button clicks.
This addition would greatly streamline workflows for users utilizing dynamic theming environments on Linux. Any thoughts or guidance on implementing this would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,

I'm glad you like the plugin. I also use Linux, but I've never used Matugen. I'll have to try it out and see how it works to test the plugin. I'm not promising anything.
