Calibre Awards 0.2.0 Beta is now available. This is the first substantial update since the initial beta release, and the biggest change is the number of award sources.
Version 0.1.1 supported 6 sources; 0.2.0 now supports 17.
The new sources are:
• John Newbery Medal
• The Booker Prize
• Deutscher Buchpreis
• Prix Goncourt
• Miles Franklin Literary Award
• Women's Prize for Fiction
• National Book Critics Circle Awards
• PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction
• PEN/Hemingway Award for Debut Novel
• International Prize for Arabic Fiction
• Bram Stoker Awards
In addition to the new award sources, I've added persistent caching. The first time an award source is checked it may take a little longer while the plugin downloads the award information, but later checks can reuse that information even after restarting Calibre.
There is also now a Refresh button for each award source in Preferences. Refresh clears the saved data for that source, and the next Check Awards search will download it again.
One other item you'll see in Preferences is National Book Awards. Unfortunately their website currently presents an automated-access challenge that the plugin does not bypass, so that source is shown as "Transport blocked" and can't currently be enabled. I left it visible rather than silently removing it because I'd still like to support it if their site becomes accessible in the future.
Calibre Awards 0.2.0 requires Calibre 6.0.0 or later and I tested this release with Calibre 9.14.0.
As before, this is still a beta. Award websites change, historical coverage varies from source to source, and I'm deliberately conservative about matching titles and authors rather than trying to guess.

Installation is the usual Calibre plugin process:
Preferences → Plugins → Load plugin from file
Select Calibre-Awards-0.2.0.zip and restart Calibre if requested.
For anyone already using an earlier version, installing the new ZIP will upgrade the plugin and keep your existing settings.
I'm still very interested in real-world misses or incorrect matches. If you find one, title + author + the award/source involved is the most useful information to send me.
Thanks again to everyone who has tested it or suggested additional awards. There are obviously a lot more award lists out there than I appreciated when I started this project, so expanding the coverage is going to continue.
