I disable or deinstall all google apps on my Android devices either in the app list in settings or via adb. I don't have a google account and I don't need these apps. There are some other crap apps like "Wireless emergency alerts" (com.google.android.cellbroadcastreceiver) which I also always disable via adb.
Some third party apps won't work because they need google play. Well, there are enough apps that can replace such badly written apps.
That may not be really "degoogled" but it's enough for my needs.
