We're supposed to believe a Kindle needs 16Gb of storage? They could cut that back to 1Gb and it would still be massive overkill for 99% of their users. Thinking about using the Kindle's library navigation user interface for 10,000+ books makes me feel faint. I'd say it's usable for 20 books, and maybe tolerable (barely) for 100 books if you're very patient and accepting of bad situations. They could make a special high-storage "Kindle for the 1%" and sell that at a hefty price for those who actually want it.
