I wondered as well, and so looked through /var/local.
As it turns out it was right in front of my eyes: you can find the bookmarks .db file at /var/local, filename KPPBrowser.db (on a PW6 past 5.18.1)
I hope it helps, even if it's quite late of an answer.

EDIT - It seems there is also some kind of web browser history that is not cleared when using clear history in the web browser app in that file.
