[GUI Plugin] Simple Goal

Simple reading goal inside calibre: keep a short list of books you are reading, see progress, and sync from the viewer.

- Settings: optionally hide the sync-success toast and/or the finish congratulations toast
- Hide finished books in the list, or auto-remove them when they reach 100% (they stay in Read history)
- Finished count is lifetime progress with the plugin (100% or marked complete), not only books still in the list
- Reading plan shows days remaining; “Started days” animates when the day count changes on open
- After sync, progress % numbers animate down the list so updates are obvious even with toasts off
- Double-click a book to open the viewer; Find in library; sort by reading / progress / title; Clear finished

Install

1. Preferences → Plugins → Get new plugins→ Filter by name → simple goal
2. Restart calibre; choose Yes on the first-run prompt to place Simple Goal on the toolbar / context menu (or add it yourself under Preferences → Toolbars & menus).

Requires calibre 6.0+.
