Reporting back:
Library books indeed would not be an issue, but I lost access to books I had bought and fulfilled via ADE previously.
The solution was to reach out to the vendors and explain to them what happened. They were super quick to answer and very understanding. They manually reset the DRM license for each book, so that they could be downloaded again with the new ByteBooks ID.
