I bought an XTEINK 4 after their last drop on the website. I decided against the X4 Pro for now even though the frontlight is important and I do not know how much I'd use it. I wanted to test out the 4 for my commute. Good thing since they are going to discontinue it and replace it with the 4 Classic which seems to be the same reader except with the pogo: https://www.joshualowcock.com/xteink...xteink-device/

I flashed Crosspoint and then Crossink quickly because my epubs would not render on the stock software. XTEINK and Crosspoint are in communication so hopefully firmware would not be locked in feature in devices either.
