I do like that it handles the updating fairly easily. It puts the install file where I want, shuts down calibre neatly, and runs the install file. The only thing I have to do it go to the calibre website to see what's new.
I was wondering if I missed out on a feature to make it automatic. But I didn't. So the post saying will auto update calibre is incorrect.

The "automatic" part of the plugin's name is clearly stated in the second paragraph: Main Features
One-Click Update: Activates the official update process. If we're being precise, it should be two clicks.

The plugin's purpose was to simplify the update process. It would have been helpful if Calibre had already included this feature in the notification window for new versions, whether final or maintenance.
