It's becoming more and more difficult to download metadata. Sites are using protection to block the plugin from accessing the site. And Even if you can access the site, if you do it too many times in too short a period, you could be either temporarily blocked or your IP could be blocked.
Downloading metadata could be a thing of the past and you'd have to do it manually instead of a plugin to do it.
