Thanks @Phoenix12 for the suggestions.
I was able to compile xzdec from source using the toolchain.

I compiled the tool from HEAD as of 18 Jul 2026.
Commit: f3b5688159c60495f48db3942a36509671dfce89
(2 commits above v5.8 tag)

I attached the resulting compiled xzdec here.
It should be working for Kindle 5.16.3+ (arm HardFloats)

I ended up re-packaging the OTA bins for python 3.11,
I couldn't get all the other pip dependencies installed though.

I also attach the OTA bins (install + uninstall) here.
