Kobo devices epub v3.3 webp support

Hello,

Has anyone with a Kobo device tested epub v3.3 with webp images? I tested it on my own Kobo Forma (N782, fw 4.38.23697). It opens the epub v3.3 format, but unfortunately, the .webp images inside don't open.

I started a thread about this on Kobo two weeks ago (https://github.com/kobolabs/epub-spec/issues/74). I later investigated the cause of the problem. The issue is that Kobo's software is very, very old. The Kobo Forma device uses Qt 5.2.1, which dates back to 2014. I'd like to point out that the Kobo Forma device was released in 2018. Its software was four years old when it came out. By the way, if the device had come with Qt 5.3.0, it would naturally have had its own webp support.

After some research, reading, and thinking, I compiled a plugin for webp and brought webp support to kepub files. You can install the file on your device by dragging and dropping it.

Is there anyone among you who has experienced a similar problem on a Kobo device and wants to test it?
