most of the time there's not really an advantage to be gained by updating further. it typically just means more security patches (fewer ways to jailbreak), hardened DRM, more bugs... and if you're already jailbroken, the hotfix will usually be able to persist the jailbreak, but not always. what are the UI features you're wanting to get from updating? is it worth potentially losing your jailbreak?
