Does Reader Memory Become Fragmented?

I switch around the files on my Reader frequently, adding, deleting, moving into and out of categories. Over time will the Reader memory become fragmented (like a PC hard drive) due to the way I'm handling files? If so, there's really no way to defrag.

If what I'm doing now will ultimately lead to a slow device, I'll change what I'm doing.
