I don't want Amazon epubs. They're poor quality and have all embedded fonts removed, for example. And sometimes you'll get pdf instead of epub. I prefer to remove the DRM from regular Kindle books or not to buy from Amazon at all.
If Amazon provided the original epub file instead of a sloppy conversion or, worse, pdf, I would love it, and do my part in supporting it. But they don't.
