I bought lots of little stuff this Prime Day. Unusual for me, but there were things on sale (OK, it was a small 15% off sale!) and I needed them. Mostly garden hose related. I got new brass spray nozzles, splitters, shut off valves, a 4-way valve, hose end repair kits, hose shut-off timers - sheesh, you'd think I was a gardener or something. Nope, just a guy with a bunch of worn out hoses and water dispersion accessories that have accumulated over the years.
I did get a DisplayPort to VGA adapter cable for one special computer use I have for that. And a small rechargeable RGB/CCT video light, and another magnetic base "magic arm" mount. The wife bought, of all things, a pair of fire suppression blankets (?) so I guess now we're ready to use those in case a fire happens by. She also bought some sticky-note pads with pictures of cats on them - probably knowing that I would never use something like that and they would be all hers to hoard.
I did also buy some items that were on sale just before Prime Day (bigger sales than what showed up on actual Prime Day). These other purchases were related to upgrading my emergency prep supplies for cooking when gas and electricity aren't present. A new large 6"x1/2" ferro rod, carbide striker, grill plate, pocket bellows, tinder materials.
For me, this all amounts to "a lot of stuff". The best word to describe this year's haul would be "miscellaneous". Nothing was very expensive however.
Nothing book or eReader related for me this year.
