Our oldest son (46) has been out of the US for almost 10 years, 8 in South Korea, the last year and a half in Saipan. The typhoon was the final straw, and he will be home tomorrow evening. His wife of 1½ years must stay behind in Thailand due to the stoppage of visa applications from there. It'll take him about 24 hours to get here, he's on a plane headed to Tokyo from Bangkok right now.
It's been 4 years since we've seen him in person.
He'll be staying with us as he gets established here again. That part should maybe be in the Rant thread.
