Would you please privately PM me (KevinH) with a link to that epub so I can try to recreate what you are seeing? I will delete it after I track down the bug.

I do not have a test case for altimage anymore. But I checked and those changes in Sigil 2.5.0 are in Sigil 2.8.0.
