Got it working however, and the current book I'm reading didn't show any errors, which is good news.

So far leaving it on My Books when in sleep mode instead of in the actual book hasn't seemed to drop the battery percentage at all so I'm keeping my fingers crossed this solved the problem.
I've never had a problem with my Libra 2 losing power when left in sleep mode with a book open. But the books I have on my Libra 2 have been checked with epubcheck and the built-in error checker in the calibre editor. So I know they have no structural errors. Also, most books I read I read as ePub and not KePub.
