I got this far: Download Books via USB: Go to your Amazon account on your browser, navigate to Manage Your Content and Devices, locate your book, click the three dots for "More Actions," and select Download and transfer via USB. (Note: You may be prompted to select a registered Kindle device).
I go to Content and Devices (there's no manage part), there's no three dots to click, there's no option to transfer and download via USB
I use amazon.co.uk
Download & Transfer via USB has been removed from Amazon. To remove the DRM, you need Windows 11, the latest version of the Windows Store Kindle app, and the 10.0.23 version of DeDRM as well as calibre with the KFX Input Plugin.

That's as much as I can say in the open.
