With a Kaliedo 3 overlay, you will need a frontlight more often as you'd need more ambient light to see the screen well enough.
Yes, less distractions. However, the iPad is better at playing audiobooks..
If you read comics, you'll get a much better display with the iPad as the colors won't be washed out.
