Version 3.3. sent to AppStore (OPDS update, Calibre sync update)
■ New features
- Connect to OPDS catalogs that require a login, not just public ones. When you add a catalog that needs an account, justRead now notices, asks for your username and password on a dedicated sign-in screen, and remembers them for that catalog. Covers and book downloads then load using your account, so private and members-only libraries work just like public ones such as Project Gutenberg. Your sign-in is saved per catalog and only ever sent to that catalog's own address.
■ Improvements
- Calibre books marked "Changed" now tell you why: the books sheet spells out what differs between your device and the server, so you know what a sync will actually do.
- "How to add books" gained a section on keeping your library in sync across multiple devices, with practical tips for a smooth multi-device setup.
■ Fixes
- Fixed the highlight note editor being the wrong width in landscape. It now matches the size of the other reader sheets, so writing a note in landscape feels consistent.
- Calibre synced books no longer show a false "Changed" flag right after you send them to your device. justRead now keeps its record of each book's last-modified date in step with Calibre, so freshly sent books stay marked as in sync.
■ Accessibility
- Clearer VoiceOver labels and hints throughout the OPDS catalog and Calibre screens, including the new sign-in flow.
■ Localization
- All new OPDS sign-in and library text translated across all supported languages.
